Manufacturing Engineer

**Leidos** is seeking a **Manufacturing Engineer** to work for the **Homeland** business unit in **Vista, CA** . The Homeland business unit at Leidos designs and manufactures highly complex security equipment for use at border crossings, airports, seaports, and other transportation mechanisms. Our products include radiation detectors and spectrometers, X-ray and gamma ray scanners for cars, trucks and trains, and CT explosives detection equipment for airline passenger baggage.

The **Manufacturing Engineer** will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of a variety of products (Radiation Portal Monitoring Equipment & VACIS Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems) and develop processes that ensure a consistent and quality focused approach to product manufacturing.This position requires a comfort level working on the shop floor, side by side with our manufacturing and service teams.
