**Maritime Solutions Hiring Event**
BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair is hiring Marine Electricians to support the Norfolk Ship Repair Facility.
+ Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and or equipment.
+ Maintains and sustains a safe working environment by following, practicing and encouraging others to observe all safety precautions required while working in a heavy industrial environment.
+ Ensures safe working environment by following correct lock-out, danger, red tag procedures and WAF requirements.
+ Determines relevant drawings required for a job by reviewing job packet, locating relevant drawings and then cross-referencing with resources such as Navy Standards Items, ISO 9000 procedures, IEEE and Chapter 300 EPISM.
+ Lays out jobs by identifying installation equipment requirements, e.g., hangers, boxes, conduit, wire ways, etc., tools and control equipment, e.g., push-buttons, switches, controller and power...
