Marine Superintendent (Engineer)

JobDescription:
1. Responsible and accountable for safe and efficient operation of new generation very large LPG and/or LNG carriers.
2. Compliance with company policies, procedures and international shipping regulatory requirements.
3. Management of vessels Certification, documentation and surveys.
4. Preparing and managing vessels operational, capex and docking budgets.
5. Inspection of vessels including sailing on board for visits.
6. Preparation for docking of very large LPG and/or LNG carriers, managing the entire docking process, including cost control and budget.
7. Able to troubleshoot and support ship staff with onboard technical issues remotely.
8. Communicating with the shipowners, meeting demand of owner specific reporting as well as that of 3rd parties.
9. Vetting store and spare requisitions raised by vessel to ensure optimum maintenance, vessel availability whilst ensuring budget maintenance.
