Munich Re has formed a global parametric team focusing on natural catastrophe risk transfer solutions, bringing together experienced colleagues from around the world. The team combines specialists in product development, catastrophe risk modelling, underwriting and structuring to improve resilience of public bodies, corporations and financial institutions, both in low-income and highly developed countries. This position focuses on the strategic origination of new parametric transaction pipelines including the development and structuring of new products. Besides the origination and execution of parametric transactions which includes structuring and underwriting, it will be necessary to lead project teams in order to coordinate and support product development but also to leverage collaboration with external partners like data providers, calculation agents or MGA.
