Opportunity Description
As a Mason you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures such as walls, floors, chimneys and other building elements made of brick, concrete blocks, stone and other materials. You will assist in measuring and cutting materials, mixing mortar and grout, and laying bricks or stones according to established patterns or designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces for construction by cleaning them and applying a layer of mortar or grout using trowels to spread mortar or grout evenly.
- Aligning bricks or stones using plumb lines or levels.
- Cutting bricks or stones to fit into place.
- Finishing surfaces by smoothing mortar joints.
- Cleaning up work areas after each shift.
- Adhering to all safety regulations.
