At Leonardo, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Material Controller. The Integrated Sensing and Protection business in Southampton is uniquely positioned as one of the world's top manufacturers of Infra-Red detectors and communication systems. As a Material Controller you will control the flow of material within the Production environment in a timeframe that supports the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
What you will be doing as a Material ControllerOrganising and issuing materials to the manufacturing area.Maintaining traceability of all production materials and finished goods.Organising the return to vendor of faulty or incorrect materialsWorking with engineers to ensure build standard integrity is maintained.Generating and managing works orders for new build and repair activities.Ensuring material is available in line with the master production schedule.
