Job Title: Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload materials and production within the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuring that materials are handled with care.
• Transport raw materials and packing to production lines and finished goods to designated storage or shipping areas.
• Empty scrap metal bins as required.
• Ensure materials are properly stacked, secured and stored to prevent damage or accidents.
• Enter shipping and receiving information into applicable computer software and programs as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
