Materials Planner

Material Planner
This position plays a critical role in supporting the Materials and Operations Department through inventory evaluation and management, application of supply chain principles, and process improvement initiatives.
The Material Planner must be able to perform root cause analysis, communicate findings effectively, and develop and implement solutions.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and supplies required for production.
Maintain part number parameters updated (supplier information, active purchase orders, lead time, transit time, maximum/minimum levels, etc.).
Maintain inventory control based on established objectives.
Manage part usage, inventory levels, and forecasting to determine current requirements.
Meet individual and team KPIs established by the plant.
Maintain expected delivery (release) reports and open purchase orders.
