This is an entry level mechanic helper position responsible for performing preventative maintenance functions on a variety of refinery rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, motors, fin fans, etc. as well as assisting mechanics in the repair and maintenance of rotating equipment at the Refinery and Pipeline operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Performs preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, performs oil changes and lubricates refinery rotating equipment.
+ General cleanup of worksites, shops, grounds and units as required.
+ Assists mechanics with installing threaded piping and tubing systems.
+ Occasionally performs work in confined spaces.
