Mechanical design engineer ii

Under the direction of the Mechanical Design Supervisor or Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Designer/Engineer will work as part of a multi-disciplinary heavy equipment design engineering team to design and develop new and innovative products to solve problems faced by our customers. This includes utilizing computer-aided software, specifically Solid Works, to create basic 3 D layouts, drawings, and schematics of parts, assemblies, and technical renderings. Responsibilities include customer visits, problem definition, concept development, cross-functional reviews, component selection and detailed design, system prototyping and validation, production design release, manufacturing support, and support of field personnel. Additionally, they will lead design projects and mentor junior level engineers to ensure growth and consistency within the team.
