Mechanical Designer

Tasks You Will Accomplish

• Perform mechanical design using CATIA V5 and oversee production of detail and installation drawings for assigned work packages.
• Interpret technical specifications in the aerospace domain to develop solutions that meet design requirements.
• Support production operations on the company’s multi‑platform aircraft programs and resolve airframe and systems problems for multi‑site assembly lines (Querétaro, Dorval, Toronto).
• Collaborate closely with disciplines such as Stress, Materials & Processes, Systems, Flight Science, Design, Methods, Quality and Operations to achieve business objectives.
• Participate in projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste and improving financial performance.
• Plan and adhere to project schedule deadlines while respecting allocated budgets.
