Mechanical Draftsman

The work includes the creation of engineering drawings for petrochemical equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, structural steelwork, mechanical machinery, and replacement parts. Site measurements will be required to ensure accurate fitment and integration with existing equipment and plant.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 12 with a mark of 50% minimum in Maths and Engineering Graphics and Design and/or National Engineering Diploma or Apprenticeship.
• Draftsman with 3-5 years’ experience as mechanical draftsman, preferably in petrochemical or mining industries.
• Proficient in Micrsoft Office.
• Leadership and organizational skills, be able to work independently and in a team, self-starter.
• Good communication skills in the English language.
