**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD**
The **Mechanical Engineer** shall provide advanced mechanical engineering support for HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure systems supporting Uniformed Services University Health Services campus.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide technical consultation and support for large mechanical infrastructure repair and modernization projects
+ Develop Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents and prepare current working estimates
+ Review Architecture and Engineering (A/E) design drawings, specifications, submittals, and cost estimates for Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) compliance
+ Participate in project execution and kickoff meetings
+ Support Quality Assurance (QA) and safety compliance activities
