Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities
1.
Equipment Design and Selection Select, design, and adapt mechanical systems such as: - Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) - Ventilation systems - Slurry transport systems - Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Customize equipment based on geological conditions and tunnel specifications. 2.
Installation and Commissioning Supervise the installation of heavy machinery and auxiliary systems. Conduct system testing and ensure proper commissioning. 3.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Diagnose faults and oversee repair work on TBMs, conveyor belts, pumps, etc. Ensure minimum downtime and safe operation. 4.
Safety and Compliance Ensure all mechanical systems meet safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with safety officers to implement and maintain safe work practices. 5.
