Description Summary

The Mechanical Fitter carries out routine and reactive maintenance on water and sewer infrastructure within the service delivery area. Additionally, the Mechanical Fitter may be called upon to deliver small capital works projects as required.The Mechanical Fitter undertakes work in a safe and efficient manner developing a sound knowledge of water control procedures necessary to operate the distribution system, thus ensuring a safe and secure supply of water to all consumers is maintained
