Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Field

Job Title: Mechanical Plant Engineer Location: Type: Permanent

Shifts: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00, with potential for overtime



SRG are currently recruiting for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a successful and growing client based in Tamworth.



As the Mechanical Maintenance/ Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement.



This role provides clear progression pathways, supported by ongoing training and professional development opportunities.



Maintain, diagnose and repair plant equipment and machinery

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding

Support production by ensuring all equipment is fully operational.



NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent)

Strong mechanical engineering skills

IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable)
