Mechanical Test Laboratory Technician

Key Accountabilities & Activities Testing & Preparation: Prepare test specimens and perform mechanical tests, including lay-ups, autoclaving, and coupon machining. Safety Compliance: Execute all tests using approved PPE (including respirators) and report any near-misses to the HSE Manager. Equipment Care: Ensure all tools are within calibration; perform daily logs, maintain equipment record books, and report malfunctions to the Lab Supervisor. Data Management: Utilize computers for mathematical calculations and graph preparation; support the creation of MTL documentation. Operational Excellence: Follow strict methodologies for analysis and contribute to cost-efficient resource usage. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
