Shift Hours:
This is a contingent position 24 Hours total / week covering 2 days at Plymouth site and 1 day at Dearborn Ford rd Clinic
Timing 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Thursday and Friday at Plymouth
and 8:00 am -4:30 pm - Tuesday at Dearborn Ford Rd.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision of the provider and nursing leadership, the Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to assist in the quality and compassionate care provided to patients.
These duties may include but are not limited to the
+ Greeting and escorting of patients to the exam room.
+ Obtaining medical histories.
+ The measurement and recording of vital signs.
+ Preparing patients for an examination/procedure.
+ Assisting the provider during the examination/procedure.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. ...
