Work Schedule: M-TH 7:45AM-5:15PM; F 8AM-12PM
Summary:
The certified medical assistant I provides direct and in-direct patient care under clinical direction of the provider they are working with and the office leadership within a medical office setting. Performs duties such as routine intake of patients which includes taking vital signs and chart prep, performing point of care testing as appropriate, and assuring patients understand their plan of care and instructions. May also be required to transport patients between hospital departments. They will also be required to answer phone messages, propose orders when there is not a protocol to support, and assure providers are made aware when there are outstanding tasks on their desktops/message center that...
