Medical Assistant Preceptor

Description

The purpose of a MA Preceptors at Oak Street Health is to serve as a dedicated preceptor for new hires and support skill building for established Oakies. MA Preceptors provide local training for onboarding, new company-wide or regional implementations, and remediation for skills and competencies. Additionally, MA Preceptors provide float coverage during which they collect all necessary medical information regarding our patients to ensure providers have the most accurate information available when making healthcare decisions.

MA Preceptors report to the regional Director of Clinical Support. They are a vital element of our model and important members of our Care Teams. Being a MA Preceptor at Street Health requires high levels of flexibility, energy, attention to detail, mastery of role, skill in training, and problem solving skills.
