We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our expanding team at a Pain Management Clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with no weekend shifts and the potential for occasional overtime.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and prepare examination rooms.
+ Enter patient history into the EMR system efficiently.
+ Take and record vital signs including body temperature, pulse, blood pressure, height, and weight.
+ Set up the injection table for providers to administer injections.
+ Prepare urine samples and perform urinalysis for providers.
+ Ensure quick turnover by efficiently managing the flow of returning patients, with each provider seeing 30-35 patients per day.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
