Overview
The South Bay Cardio. Medical Assistant will assist the clinical staff in the care of patients, prep patients for stress testing procedures, assist in patient observation, assist in the maintaining of clean exam rooms, stock items, answer phones, front office, and other related duties.

Education: High School Diploma / GED Required
Licensure/Certification: BLS
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Takes direction for all patient care activities from a registered professional nurse. Completes assignment record and submits for review. Takes ownership in patient safety outcomes.
• Checks daily for presence of an identification band on each patient; replaces them as needed.
• Administers personal care of patients (bed making, bath, foot care, oral hygiene, skin care, back care, shaving men) and documents care given.
