Responsibilities
- Accurately enter medical charges and diagnoses into the practice management system
- Review encounters for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with claim corrections and billing discrepancies as needed
- Work closely with Management and billing staff to ensure proper documentation
- Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, coding updates, and billing processes
- Help support efficient workflow within the revenue cycle department
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations regarding billing practices
