Medical Billing Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Billing Specialist role based in Lahore. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for preparing and submitting clean insurance claims, following up on unpaid or rejected claims, and resolving billing discrepancies with payers. Daily tasks include verifying patient insurance coverage, reviewing encounter forms and coding information, and ensuring accurate application of ICD-10 and payer-specific requirements. The role also involves working claims denials, posting payments and adjustments, and communicating with insurance companies and internal teams to support timely reimbursement. The specialist will maintain detailed records, meet productivity and quality targets, and adhere to all applicable billing, compliance, and privacy regulations.
