Medical Collector - REMOTE

We are hiring a fully remote medical collector with experience specifically within HOSPITAL billing and collections. Qualified candidates must have experience working hospital claims and strong knowledge of the insurance rules and regulations, as the hospital systems in the state of Maryland.
Requirements:
2+ years' experience in hospital billing and insurance follow up, including working denied claims
2+ years' experience working government claims
Experience with Epic EMR
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Strong knowledge of the state of Maryland hospital systems and insurance guidelines

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
