MEDICAL DOSIMETRIST

+ JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ Education
+ Possesses a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree with a major in physical or biological sciences, and posses a CMD (certification in medical dosimetry). Together with either of these credentials, the applicant also demonstrates completion of two or more years of work experience in medical dosimetry.
+ Experience
+ Sufficient knowledge of different phases of radiation therapy including Dosimetry.
+ Physical
+ Exposure to radiological hazards-occupational levels. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range. Operates high energy accelerator, ionizing radiation, and computer. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Lifting up to 50lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 250 lbs.
