Opportunity Description
One of the best Universities for health education, Worcester has founded the distinctive Three Counties Medical School [TCMS], aiming to widen access to careers in medicine and retain graduates in the local area. The School’s curriculum emphasises problem-based learning [PBL], early patient contact, programmatic assessment, and an emphasis on community-orientated clinical placements at every stage.
We now wish to appoint a Medical Education Facilitator (MEFs) to support the on-going delivery of the curriculum across years 1 and 2 (Phase 1).
You are invited to apply for a part-time post (between 0.4-0.8FTE) that will deliver either PBL and/or Integrated Clinical Method (ICM) contributing to the programme across the week. As a PBL Facilitator you will meet with groups of students on Monday and Fridays, as an ICM Tutor on Tuesdays and/or Thursday over 35 weeks. The remaining time will be devoted to preparation, curriculum development, career development and the assessment...
