What you'll do

The Medical Education Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support tothe Residency Coordinator and Program Director for the Surgery Residency Program. This role ensuresthat all assigned responsibilities are performed in compliance with accreditation and regulatoryrequirements, including those of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the American Board of Surgery (ABS), and applicable New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and Department of Education (DOE) standards.
