RESPONSIBILITIES
The genetics activity needs to be strengthened by the recruitment of a full-time clinical geneticist, in order to meet the following objectives in particular:
Provide clinical genetics services ( rare diseases in child- and adulthood, cancer susceptibility syndromes, prenatal counselling);Participating in medical validation of genetic analysis;Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with those involved in genetic patient management;Participate in the supervision of genetic counsellor and doctors undergoing specialization;Monitor the literature on genetics and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and patient management recommendations;Participate in genetics working groups within national public health programs and working groups ( National Program for Rare Diseases, National Cancer Plan).
