Medical Lab Tech

Job Summary We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine, complex, and specialized laboratory procedures under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, ensuring accurate and timely results for a diverse patient population. Responsibilities Perform assigned diagnostic test procedures accurately in accordance with written policies and procedures. Adhere to quality control protocols and perform and document prescribed maintenance procedures. Report work accurately, legibly, and in accordance with criteria for abnormal and critical values. Work efficiently and respond to stats and other priority tests to provide optimum patient care. Interact professionally with lab personnel and other hospital departments. Assist with evaluation of equipment and procedures, orient new employees, and work with students.
