Medical Laboratory Scientist, Part Time - Days

Overview Location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244 Work hours: Part-Time; Day Shift; 28 Hours; Monday through Thursday from Responsibilities Facilitate workflow process Complete patient laboratory testing including CLIA waived, moderately complex and highly complex testing Collaborate with nursing and physicians Ensure specimen integrity and laboratory operations Work in a manner that focuses on professionalism and safety Check outstanding tests list in a timely manner Troubleshoot and follow through on outstanding tests which appear to have not been collected/received when expected Utilize time between testing to accomplish other needed tasks (evaluation of kits, preparing controls, supply management, housekeeping duties, etc.) Follow established laboratory test procedures, including using proper computer protocol Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physica...
