Opportunity Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic new receptionist for approx 30 hours per week over 4 days to join our supportive team. The post would suit somebody who is empathetic, works well under pressure and likes a busy but rewarding working environment. Although previous experience would be an advantage, this is not essential as full training will be provided. The hours available are: Monday 8‑1, Tuesday 1‑6.30, Wednesday 8‑1 and /or 2‑6.30 and Friday 8‑1 and/ or 2‑6.30
Main duties of the job
The role of a GP receptionist is varied and includes answering the telephone, booking appointments, greeting patients and processing clinical letters and repeat prescriptions. The post holder will need to be flexibly to cover annual leave.
