Medical Social Worker (2-year Contract)

You will provide psychosocial support, counselling and practical assistance to patients and their families who are facing personal, social, emotional and financial problems arising from the illness, so as to alleviate their problems and regain their social and psychological functioning. You will use applied specialised skills in attending to patients and families and work with a team of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and other hospital staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts major in Social Work, Bachelor of Social Sciences in Social Work
• Relevant work experience will be an added advantage
• Preferably a registered Social Worker with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW)
