Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing)

Summary The incumbent will provide sterilization, preparation, supply items, reusable medical equipment decontamination and distribution support for the at the Troy Bowling Campus medical center. The employee will work as a team member with other Medical Supply Technicians of various experience to carry out the daily work utilizing the written standard operating procedures and/ or manufactures written instructions in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or standard practices. Responsibilities Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Duties to include but not limited to: Performs segments of work pertaining to the decontamination, sterilization, and inspection of reusable medical devices (RMD). May be required to operate a government vehicle to provide distribution support between facility campuses.
