About The Unit

The Same Day Surgery Department at Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) specializes in preoperative and postoperative care for a variety of surgical and endoscopic procedures. Our unit prepares patients for surgeries in disciplines such as orthopedics gynecology ear nose and throat (ENT) general surgery urology neurology vascular and plastics. We are at the forefront of outpatient surgery that focuses on discharging patients on the same day including complex procedures like total joint replacements.
