Medical Technologist

Job Title

Responsible for performing chemical, hemotology, urinalysis, microbiology and blood bank analysis and related techniques for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Educational and/or Professional Qualifications: 1. An Associates degree or Bachelor of Science degree required. Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: 1. Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists recommended. 2. Must be licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Clinical Lab Science-Technician by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners or can be eligible for licensure.
