Medication Technician Job Description

Purpose: To ensure proper medication administration per resident's personal physician and the community's Policies and Procedures. To provide personal care and assist in monitoring the wellbeing and the environment of the residents receiving assisted living services.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements: • CNA, or previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred. • Current CNA license, other license, or ability to obtain as required by State regulatory agency. • Ability to take blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and O2 Sat or ability to learn. • Experience reading medical terminology preferred. • Must enjoy working with seniors. • Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and team members. • Must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other team members. •...
