About the Role

Te Whare Manaaki is a Medium Secure Forensic Unit that provides specialist care for people who, as a result of a mental illness, have seriously offended or are assessed as high risk for serious offending. The unit is committed to quality improvement and offers a fulfilling and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Assistant you will assist nursing staff with patient care, maintain a safe and clean work environment, utilise electronic systems to ensure ongoing safety and security, and work closely with all members of the team to create a safe environment.
