Messaging Engineer (SMS/MMS)

Required Skills & Experience 3–7+ years in telecom, messaging, or wireless operations.

Strong experience with:

• SMS/MMS protocols:  SMPP ,  MM7 ,  SS7  (preferred),  Diameter  (nice-to-have) Messaging platforms (e.g., OpenMarket, Syniverse, Twilio, or similar) Knowledge of: Routing, delivery receipts, message encoding (GSM, Unicode) Carrier connectivity and interworking Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Grafana).


• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs). 5g/lte/Ims call flows, End-to-End SMS Flow ,  API Messaging , SMPP , SMSC/MMSC platform operations, SMPP, MM7, DLRs, A2P, 10DLC, short codes, toll-free messaging, Syniverse/OpenMarket/Twilio, SMPP bind types, DLR debugging, MMS/MM7 flow, encoding etc Powered by JazzHR
