**Job Summary**

Responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the duties of the meter electricians, field meter servicer, and distribution operations technicians in the safe installation/removal, operation, and maintenance of meters and metering equipment on distribution, transmission, and station facilities. Duties include the acquisition of meters and maintenance of appropriate meter stock inventories, installation and proper operation of distribution control equipment, testing of meters according to AEP standards and standards of state regulatory groups, reading of meters pertaining to large power customers and statistical load research, implementation of security sealing procedures, providing meter training programs for assigned personnel and others performing work on customer meter installations, and maintenance of meter record...
