Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provides day to day supervision of high complexity testing and must remain accessible to testing personnel.Schedules and maintains complete coverage of all shifts and performs bench work in the laboratory, as needed and reviews and monitors payroll activities.Ensures that testing personnel utilize the appropriate pending reports to confirm all testing on all shifts is accounted for and performed.Provides orientation to all testing personnel and annually evaluates and documents the performance in all areas of testing for testing personnel.Conducts performance evaluations and competencies for all departmental staff.Monitors test analysis and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.Ensures that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is properly functionin...
