Microbiology Technician / Microbiologist

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Microbiology professional to support laboratory activities related to the cultivation, monitoring, and development of bacterial cultures. The role involves hands-on microbiological work, data collection, and continuous improvement of culturing methods from laboratory scale up to pilot line level. In addition, the candidate will support any relevant ad hoc laboratory projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities Cultivate and maintain microorganisms/bacterial cultures using established techniques and standard laboratory protocols. Monitor bacterial growth through routine observations, measurements, and documentation (e.g., optical density, colony counts, morphology or via sensor derived techniques such as pH). Develop, optimize, and validate bacterial culturing methods, media formulations, and growth conditions to support research or production goals.
