Mill UAE Production Machine Operator

Jobholders at this level are shift‑based and they have responsibility for a paper machine. They will be required to closely monitor system performance and, under direction, recalibrate and re‑set system parameters to increase efficiency through implementing AM and IWS to eliminate unplanned stops and waste. They will also be required to employ basic level problem‑solving techniques in paper machine troubleshooting.

What You’ll do

Equipment Operation

Exercises operational responsibility for a paper machine according to standard operating procedures and approved safety procedures to ensure continuous and efficient operations and quality standards and meeting of line production targets.

System Performance

Monitors system performance and, under the direction of a paper machine supervisor, manipulates calibrations and settings to ensure synchronization of unit stages, efficient throughput, and minimal down time.
