Mine overseer

Mine Overseer South Deep Gold Mine is recruiting a Mine Overseer to operationalise and execute the safe and efficient delivery of the delegated short‑ and medium‑term production plan. The role is primarily accountable for applying and continuously enhancing safety standards and optimising sectional operational planning, scheduling and execution. The incumbent will investigate and analyse operational deficiencies to co‑design and develop collaborative and innovative solutions that optimise interfaces between operational teams, processes and systems.
Minimum Requirements
Matriculated or equivalent with a Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency
At least five years’ mine overseer experience in a deep‑level trackless mine
Proven expertise in overseeing the delivery of operational SHE campaigns
Sound working knowledge of relevant Mine Health & Safety legislation
Proven track record in delivering operational projects and leading contract work
