Located within the Limpopo and North West Provinces of South Africa with our Head Office based in Express Employment Professionals SA Head Office.

Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain effective communication for a conducive environment.
2. Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, Codes of Practice, systems, and set practices.
3. Examine travelling ways.
4. Control water entering N/X holes.
5. Ensure blasting legal compliance.
6. Receive and control of explosives (including explosives).
7. Blasting of transfer chute.
8. Slinging of long material.
9. Report and control of ore flow in the shaft ore pass system.
10. Encourage a more engaged and proactive safety culture.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

1. 5 years experience as Onsetter/Banksman/Shaft Timberman.
2. Onsetter certificate.
3. Blasting certificate.
4. First aid certificate.
