JOB PURPOSE
The Cytotechnologist 2 is responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory procedures according to prescribed policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Laboratory Technology Possession of an accredited Diagnostic Cytology Program certification (or equivalent) Holds a practicing (non-temporary) license and in good standing with the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists Ability to attend work on a regular basis.Ability to perform the duties of the position.Good work record.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing routine and specialized proceduresValidating and reporting test resultsOperating, troubleshooting and doing preventative maintenance on equipmentPerforming quality control and participating in quality improvement activities
