**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our **Monitor Technician** , you will be responsible for continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes.
Every day you will meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate sharp observational skills, a thorough understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly and precisely under pressure, crucial for patient safety and timely intervention.
+ Reads basic EKG tracings and identifies potential/lethal arrhythmias: Yearly EKG competency completed 100% on lethal arrhythmias
+ Measures out important intervals of the EKG strips: No error noted by EKG certified RNs
+ Complete yearly competency with 80% or more accuracy
+ Check and maintain accurate settings of yellow ...
