Summary The Motor Vehicle Operator serves within the Transportation Office and is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services for Veterans, employees, medical personnel, supplies, laboratory specimens, medications, and equipment. Responsibilities The incumbent operates a variety of government vehicles, including passenger buses and ambulatory transport vehicles, while ensuring compliance with all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and Department of Veterans Affairs policies. Duties include but are not limited to: Operates a variety of government-owned vehicles, including passenger buses and ambulatory transport vehicles, to transport Veterans, employees, medical personnel, supplies, laboratory specimens, medications, and equipment to designated locations.
