Motor Vehicle Operator

Summary The incumbent serves as a Motor Vehicle Operator within the Health Administration Service at the Orlando VA Medical Center/Lake Baldwin Clinic to include all outlying clinics. In order for the Orlando VA Healthcare System to provide excellent health care that improves Veterans health and wellbeing, VA employees may be required to work irregular tours of duty, including evenings and weekends in order to conduct the VA's mission. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Drives extra-long and high 36 passenger bus/15 passenger van patient transport vehicles (typically 12,000 to 21,500 lb. average weight). Transports patients to and from facilities to designated stops through inter-city traffic and interstate highways. Drives sedans, carryalls, cargo vans and trucks up to 26,500 lb. curb weight, and other vehicles assigned to the clinic.
