Summary You will serve as a Motor Vessel Captain Supervisor I in the Port Operations Division of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA. Responsibilities You will plan each day's activity after receiving direction on the tasks to be accomplished, fitness of the tug and crew, acceptability of weather conditions, and the course to the proposed worksite or passage destination. You will pilot and handle the tug during normal operations. You will provide effective and decisive leadership to the crew both during normal operations and any emergency situations. You will maintain a log of daily operations and occurrences, submit reports of operation as required. You will coordinate and plan repairs or maintenance for the vessel with port engineer, port captain, and the chief engineer.
